Blog Update/Tadoku Contest

Just a quick blog update! So I’ve been away for a time because of my university work. It’s been keeping me busy unfortunately so I haven’t had time to really watch anything and review it.

I had started writing a review for 言の葉の庭 (The Garden of Words) which was beautiful, but I won’t be able to finish the review until I get all my work this week done.

But it’s just one week until my spring break and then its Anime Boston so there will be a lot of updates then!

On another note, I’ve been taking Japanese language courses again and I’ve joined the Japanese Language Club at my school. I’m also going to be participating in one of my friend’s research projects about helping students of Japanese learn outside of the classroom.

One of the things I’ll be doing for the project is the Tadoku Contest which is a Japanese reading competition. For every page of a book or a manga, you get a certain amount of points (Manga’s get less points because they’re a little bit easier since they have pictures).

I believe if you get the most points, you get a prize so it’ll be a lot of fun!

It starts on March 15th and you can sign up here on their site (you need to have a Twitter account though): http://readmod.com/

Let me know how you do if you decide to do the contest! Hopefully I can make it to my goal!

My blog~

So I started up my blog again that I had from last year (on wordpress)~ I’ve started reviewing anime so far and I’m so excited to be doing this again!

I’ve only done two anime series reviews and I’m working on a review of the animated film 言の葉の庭 (The Garden of Words).

If you would like to check out my blog, you can find it here:
